Dr. Sampada P. Patvardhan*
Dr. Sampada Patvardhan has been appointed as Principal and the management is pleased to have an experienced personality from the industry. Dr. Patvardhan has completed her Doctorate in Pharmacology from S.N.D.T. Women’s University in 1998 and M.Pharm. from Mumbai University in 1989. She was associated with Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council’s Drug Information Centre, Mumbai as a Director for more than 6 years. She has total professional experience of 20 years. She has nine research papers and publications to her credit. Her key contributions are (a) Validation of the quality assurance tool of the FIP task force on global framework on quality assurance of Pharmacy education. She was one of the representatives from India in WHO UNESCO FIP Global Pharmacy Education Taskforce’s online survey conducted (b) was Reviewer of Herbal and Pharmacology P.G. research projects in SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai (c) Member of the syllabus committee for drafting the Pharm.D course, approved by Govt. of India and introduced by Pharmacy Council of India in June 2008 (d) Prepared a draft dossier for Searpharm on ‘Methods and Measures for using exiting drug information material for Patient information’ which was accepted in ExCo meeting at WHO South East Asia Region (SEARO) member countries in April 2009 (e) Prepared first of its kind report on Misbranding And SALA Drugs Responsible for Medication Errors In Maharashtra and Gujarat which is uploaded on www.whoindia.org. website (WHO India Country office). She has recently been inducted by Delhi Society for Promotion of Rational Use of Drugs (DSPRUD), New Delhi as a Co-ordinator for Maharashtra State for Training of Pharmacists working at ART (Anti Retroviral Therapy for HIV/AIDS) Centres under NACP-III funded by NACO. She is also nominated by Dept. of Public Health, State Government of Maharashtra on the Central Purchase Committee for medicine procurement for all government hospitals as a non governmental member.

Mrs. Padmini Ravikumar
Mrs. Ravikumar is the Vice Principal and Asst. Professor in Pharmaceutics. She has completed her M.Pharm. in the subject of Pharmaceutics from University Institute of Chemical Technology (UICT). She has over 18 years industrial experience in the formulation development including her own venture and teaching experience of over 8 years. She has attended a number of seminars and conferences. She is currently pursuing Ph.D. and is a life member of APTI.

Mrs. Tabassum Khan
Mrs. Tabassum Khan has been appointed as Asst. Professor in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. She has completed her B.Pharm. and M.Pharm. from C.U. Shah College of Pharmacy, S.N.D.T. University, Mumbai. She has submitted her thesis for Ph.D. (Tech.) and is awaiting viva-voce. She has a consolidated work experience of 10 years which includes industry and academia. As a Scientist in Procter & Gamble, she represented India-Technology Team at various Asia-Pacific Regional Technology Meets. She was a part of the task force responsible for delivering consumer noticeable product benefits. She has attended various national and international seminars, conferences and Drug Discovery workshops. She has many national and international publications to her credit in reputed . She has presented her research work in many national and international conferences across the globe. She will be presenting a research paper at the ESF-COST High Level Resesarch Conference on Natural Products – Chemistry & Biology to be held at Italy in September 2010.

Ms. Vasanti M. Suvarna
Ms. Suvarna has been promoted as Asst. Professor in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. She has completed her M. Pharm. in Quality Assurance from S.N.D.T. Women’s University. She has over 3 years of teaching experience. She has worked as a Project Co-ordinator at Vedic Life Sciences for 2 years. She has published four research papers in journals of national and international repute. She has attended a number of national conferences, seminars, workshops and staff development programmes. She has four national and one international presentations and she is a life member of APTI.

Mrs. Rashmi Mallya
Mrs. Mallya is Asst. Professor in Pharmacognosy. She has her degree of M.Pharm. from Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, her specialization subject being Pharmacognosy. She has five years teaching experience. She has two publications to her credit. She has attended a number of seminars and conference and Staff Development Program (AICTE sponsored). She is a life member of APTI.

Mr. Dipak D. Magar
Mr. Dipak D. Magar is a Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy. He has completed his M.Pharm. in the subject of Pharmaceutical Chemistry from University of Mumbai. He has four years teaching experience and one year industrial experience. He is presently teaching Medicinal Chemistry.

Mr. Pramod K. Kadu
Mr. Pramod K. Kadu is a Lecturer in Pharmacy. He has completed his M.Tech. in the subject of Biotechnology from Vellore Institute of Technology University, Tamil Nadu. He has worked as a Q.A. Officer in CIPLA Ltd., Pune plant for one year. He has also worked in Nicholas Piramal Research centre, Mumbai for a period of six months. He is mainly teaching the subject of Biotechnology and has three years teaching experience. He is currently pursuing Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology.

Mr. Kedar S. Prabhavalkar
Mr. Kedar S. Prabhavalkar is working as a Lecturer in Pharmacology. He has completed his Masters in Pharmacology from University of Mumbai. He was previously working for an MNC as a Scientific Content Editor. He has three years teaching experience and is currently pursuing Ph.D. in Pharmacology.

Mr. Lokesh Kumar Bhatt
Mr. Lokesh Kumar Bhatt is a Senior Lecturer in Pharmacology. He has worked with Torrent Research Centre (New Drug Discovery, Pharmacology) for two years. He has received his M. Pharm. degree from Poona College of Pharmacy. His area of specialization is Cardio Vascular research. He has published a number of international and national research papers and is pursuing his Ph.D. in Pharmacology. He has three years teaching experience. He presented a paper at Keystone Symposia on Complication of Diabetes and Obesity, 2009, Vancouver, Canada and was awarded Barrie Hesp Award of US $1000. He was also awarded travel grant for presenting paper at Experimental Biology, 2010, Anaheim, CA, USA by American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics. |
Mrs. Madhavi S. Apte
Mrs. Apte is working as Lecturer in Pharmacy. She has completed her B.Pharm. and M.Pharm. from Mumbai University. Her subject of specialization is Pharmacognosy. She has worked with USV as a Medical Advisor and Indi Pharma as a Brand Manager. She has industrial experience of five years and teaching experience of two years.

Mr. Pravin Kale
Mr. Kale has been appointed as Lecturer in Pharmacy. He has completed his undergraduate and post graduate education from University of Pune. His subject of specialization at post graduation level was Pharmacology. He has one year and eight months industrial experience. He has an experience of two years in academics. He is currently pursuing Ph.D. in Pharmacology.

Mr. Momin M. Yahya
Mr. Momin, Lecturer in Pharmacy has done his Diploma in Pharmacy from K. M. Kundanani Pharmacy Polytechnic and Bachelor in Pharmacy from Bombay College of Pharmacy, Mumbai. He has obtained his M.S. (Pharm.) degree in Pharmaceutics from National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER). He has worked on the theme Nanotechnology in Advanced Drug Delivery at Centre for Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology, Department of Pharmaceutics, NIPER under the direct supervision of Prof. Dr. M. N. V. Ravi Kumar, currently Professor of Drug Delivery at Strathclyde University, Glasgow, U.K. He has one international publication to his credit. Mr. Momin was invited as Guest Scientist and participated in a research project entitled “3D Wound Healing Model: Influence of Morphine and Solid Lipid Nanoparticles” Funding : Funding consisting of 3 months scholarship and travelling grant was conferred by Free University of Berlin, Berlin, Germany. He has teaching experience of more than 1 year.

Ms. Nishad Kadiri
Ms. Nishad who has joined as Lecturer in Pharmacy has completed her graduation from Bombay College of Pharmacy, Mumbai and Masters in Pharmacy from Prin. K.M. Kundnani College of Pharmacy, Mumbai in Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry. She has teaching experience of more than 1 year and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Pharmacognosy

Ms. Rajashree Vidhate
Ms. Rajashree, Lecturer in Pharmacy has completed her B. Pharm. and M. Pharm. in Pharmaceutics from Bombay College of Pharmacy, Mumbai and her research title was ‘Particulate system for pulmonary drug delivery’. She has 18 months industrial experience and teaching experience of more than 1 year. She is currently pursuing Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics. |
Ms. Rupali Murhe
Ms. Rupali, Lecturer in Pharmacy has completed her B. Pharm. and M. Pharm in Quality Assurance from C.U. Shah College of Pharmacy, S.N.D.T. Women’s University, Mumbai and her research title was ‘Synthesis and Evaluation of Antimicrobial Activity on some Novel Norfloxacin Derivatives’ under the guidance of Dr. (Mrs.) Supriya Mahajan. She has teaching experience of 1 year. |
Mrs. Manisha Oza
Mrs. Manisha J. Oza has joined as Lecturer in Pharmacy. She has completed B.Pharm from L.M. College of Pharmacy, Gujarat University and completed M.Pharm from Institute of Science and Technology for advanced Research, Sardar Patel University, Gujarat. Her subject of specialization is Pharmacognosy. Prior to joining, she has two years of academic experience as a lecturer. Till now she has presented three posters in which one is in international conference and two are in national conferences. She has keen interest on R & D of oncology therapeutic segment. |
Ms. Prabha Singh
Ms Prabha Singh is a Lecturer in Pharmacy. She has completed her M.Pharm. in Pharmaceutics from C.L. Baid Mehta College of Pharmacy, Chennai and B.Pharm. from Allana College of Pharmacy, Pune. She has submitted her thesis for Ph.D. (Tech.) and is awaiting viva-voce. Her area of research work is Novel Drug Delivery Systems. She has worked as Junior Research Scientist in Formulation and Development department (DDS) in Cipla Pvt Ltd. for two years. She has five research papers in journals of international repute. She has presented eleven papers of her research work in international and national conferences. She has attended a number of seminars. She has received scholarship from Tamilnadu State welfare trust for research. She is a life member of Indian Pharmaceutical Association. |
Ms. Sreeja Jayant
Mrs. Sreeja Jayant has recently been appointed as Lecturer in Pharmacy. She has completed her M.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from The State University of New Jersey, USA with Pharmaceutics as her specialization. She has professional experience of more than four years. She has two research publications and 3 presentations/abstracts to her credit. She has also published a book chapter on Polymeric Drugs in Macromolecular Engineering. |
Ms. Sarika Phatak

Mrs. Phatak is a fully qualified Librarian. She has completed her Masters in Library and Information Science (M.L.I. Sc.) and has successfully passed her SET examination from University of Pune which is an asset to her credit and the college. She has attended a seminar and workshop related library & information science. She has also completed 3 weeks refresher course on “Futuristic Library Environment” organized by UGC Academic Staff college, Mumbai University. She has total work experience of 7 years. |
